Last November, Aécio presented a paper entitled 'Tecnologia, experiência e memória em Memento'. He developed the theme of embodiment and the technological propitiation of memory by means of an approach to the movie 'Memento', by Christopher Nolan. The main argument is that the movie is representative of a set of issues typical of the experience of contingency that arises out of contemporary technological culture.
